THOMPSONVILLE (WSIL) -- The food pantry is in need of donations to help restock its shelves.
Organizers are holding a food drives, and are looking for donations of non-perishable items.
The food pantry is located at the Community of Christ Church, and is open to anyone living in Franklin County on the third Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Organizers say the goal is to help serve those in-need during the pandemic
Donations can be made next Saturday, December 5th from 8:00 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Those wanting to help can also drop off food items at the Dollar General and Big O Farm Store during shopping hours.
Those locations will be accepting donations until December 4.
