Billie Eilish brought her fervent support for climate change to the American Music Awards on Sunday night (Nov. 24).
The songstress, who is Billboard's 2019 Woman of the Year, sang "all the good girls go to hell" as her debut awards show performance. For the show, she rocked a black t-shirt that read "No Music on a Dead Planet" in red jewels. The quote acts as the slogan for Music Declares Emergency, a group of artists, organizations and music professionals "concerned at the lack of a cohesive, industry-wide response to the climate emergency." As a result, they're "declaring a climate emergency and to work towards making the cultural and operational changes necessary to contribute towards a carbon neutral future."
Others on the lengthy list of artist supporters include Imogen Heap, Radiohead, Milky Chance, Robyn, the 1975 and more.
Eilish, who was nominated for six awards at the AMAs, took home the trophies for new artist of the year and favorite artist - alternative rock. See her tee for a good cause below.
