In "The Mandalorian," Baby Yoda has yet to utter a full word — but on the internet, his actions speak volumes.
In the latest episode of the Star Wars series, "Sanctuary," Baby Yoda and Mando land on a planet with a human society that is defending itself from a mysterious horde of interlopers. Despite the conflict, Baby Yoda settles in and plays with the children on the planet, and is seen peacefully sucking on frogs and drinking soup.
Twitter users made quick work of the new fodder, creating a GIF to add to the internet's extensive library of images to accompany the words "sipping tea."

The phrase has a much longer history, though.
According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, 'tea,' the root of the expressions sipping and spilling tea, is one of many popular expressions —including "shade" — that have been taken from black drag culture.
Merriam-Webster points to an early print usage of the expression in John Berendt's "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" to elucidate its definition.
When interviewing a drag queen about her dating life, she explains that she avoids certain men because of the reaction when they "find out her T."
"Yeah, my T. My thing, my business, what's goin' on in my life."
Other early usages of "T" or "tea" refer to it as gossip.
