Catherine Zeta-Jones has paid a moving tribute to father-in-law Kirk Douglas — telling the Hollywood icon to “sleep tight” after his death this week at 103.
“To my darling Kirk, I shall love you for the rest of my life,” Zeta-Jones, 50, wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of her tenderly kissing the cheek of the “Spartacus” star who died Wednesday.
“I miss you already. Sleep tight…” the Welsh actress wrote in her social media post late Wednesday.
Zeta-Jones’ husband, Michael Douglas, had announced his father’s death Wednesday in a Facebook post — writing, “Dad — I love you so much and I am so proud to be your son.”
“Kirk’s life was well lived, and he leaves a legacy in film that will endure for generations to come,” the 75-year-old actor wrote.
