If you’ve never heard of horary astrology before, I suggest you gather around my communal internet fire and listen up. Horary astrology tasks an astrologer (aka me) with answering a question by constructing and interpreting a birth chart for the question at the time it is received and understood. The astrologer’s hard-and-fast answer to the question can manifest IRL quickly—like, within days or weeks—but it usually takes up to three months. Astrologers consider horary to be a specialty since many rules in traditional astrology don’t apply in a horary chart. Yeah, it’s that fancy.
That said, the question “Will Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt get back together after their reunion at the SAG Awards?” was understood by me, the astrologer, at 10:15 a.m. ET in New York, New York, on January 22nd, 2020 [editor’s note: hehe, yeah, I went there]. According to the horary chart below, the answer to this burning question to be a “yes.” *insert high-pitched screams* Allow me to explain why.
Brad and Jennifer need some privacy, k?
Jen is ruled by the 7th house in this chart. She is Venus exalted in Pisces, which means she is doing amazing (duh) and has high hopes about the future of her relationship with Brad. In fact, she’s preeetty content about their situation at the moment. Pisces, the depositor of her significator, is located in the 12th house of clandestine relationships. Therefore, she probably wants to keep her situation with Brad on the DL while she sorts out her feelings. This may be a difficult feat after their reunion was fully exposed at the SAG Awards.
Now, Brad is ruled by the 1st house in this chart. He is Mars, which is peregrine in Sagittarius. This means he’s just going with the flow (TYPICAL BRAD!). Sagittarius is in the 8th house of transformation, which is traditionally ruled by Mars. Brad’s Mars gains momentum in this placement, so it’s fair to say he is hesitant in moving the relationship forward until he feels more grounded.
In a relationship horary, we look to see if there’s an aspect that applies between the 1st and 7th houses. Venus and Mars will come to square each other on January 26, 2020. Therefore, the square is applying, which means they will reunite again. As an astrologer, I would presume they are working together to decide on the state of their relationship. Even if they come together this weekend, they may not be ready to announce it publicly yet.
The Moon in a horary chart rules the entire situation. The Moon is in its detriment in Capricorn, which isn’t ideal. It’s also located in the 10th house of public affairs and reputation, meaning they may be worried about how their fans will react if they get back together. Being that the 4th house of the horary chart is ruled by the Moon, I’d say they are concerned about their relationship being in the spotlight again. Also, the Moon will aspect Venus (Jen), which means she’s shy about discussing their relationship publicly.
Jen’s birth chart has her deep in her feels
The last two eclipses shook up Jennifer’s astrological birth chart (which is recorded as February 11th, 1969, at 10:22 p.m. in Los Angeles, California). The eclipse on December 26th, 2019, awakened her Venus (planet of love) in Aries and her Jupiter (planet of expansion and growth). She’s been in the mood to change a relationship ever since she invited Brad to her Christmas party...that he attended....and was the last to leave. Further, the eclipse on January 10th, 2020, squared her Saturn (planet of commitment) in Aries, which may have triggered her to desire to connect with Brad on a deeper level.
Brad’s birth chart says he’s interested but terrified
Brad’s birth chart (which is recorded as December 18th, 1963, at 6:31 a.m. in Shawnee, Oklahoma) shows that Saturn and Pluto are hanging out on his Capricorn Moon and Venus. He wants to commit, but there’s a third party involved—which may be the general public. His Moon, Mercury, and Venus were all eclipsed on January 10th’s lunar eclipse, which means he is longing to be in a partnership and having anxiety over the matter, probably due to widespread media attention. His Jupiter in Aries was impacted during the solar eclipse on December 26th, which means he was feeling the same way as Jen during the holidays.
Overall, their reunion as a couple looks very promising, but they need privacy while they sort our their feelings. Let’s wait and see whether or not they make headlines this weekend or in the next three months, because TBH, their reconciliation is written in the stars!
