Registration is open for this season’s training classes for the UC Cooperative Extension’s San Bernardino County Master Gardener program.

Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who share information on home gardening with the public through workshops, demonstrations and more.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s San Bernardino County Master Gardener training classes will all be held online, via Zoom, according to a news release. Classes will run 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturdays from Oct. 3 through March 6. There will be no classes Oct. 31, Nov. 28 and Dec. 26.

Applicants are required to attend “live,” although classes will be recorded and posted. Outdoor learning activities are also attached to each topic.

For information and to register, contact program coordinator Margaret O’Neill at magoneill@ucanr.edu.

Information about the San Bernardino County Master Gardener program is also available at mgsb.ucanr.edu.
