Returning to the gym soon? You’ll likely need a face mask, but not just any old covering will do.
Gyms across the state are reopening as part of the state’s phase 3 plan and members will now need to wear a face covering while working out. If you’re a member planning on returning to your gym, you’re going to want to make sure you’re equipped with the correct face mask designed to handle intense workouts.
Under Armour, Adidas and Reebok offer three of the best face masks for exercise.

Under Armour offers the “Sportsmask”, the company’s take on a non-medical face mask in response to the coronavirus pandemic, sold out online in less than an hour, according to the company’s CEO, Patrik Fisk. Under Armour describes the “Sportsmask” as a three-layer mask consisting of a spacer fabric, an open-cell foam and a “UA iso-chill,” which the company promises that the “fabric actually feels cool against your skin, stretches, and has an anti-microbial treatment.”
“The UA SPORTSMASK is available for pre-order now and will ship on or before August 17.”
Adidas

Sportswear company Adidas is currently offering three face covers for $16. The covers are made with a soft, breathable fabric that is comprised of 40% recycled content. Adidas notes the covers are not medically graded or Personal Protective Equipment, but can help prevent the spread of viruses and germs through droplet transmission.
The company says $2 from every pack sold will go to Save the Children’s Global Coronavirus Response Fund.

Reebok

The athletic wear company describes their masks as “Made with soft, breathable fabric the Reebok Face Cover is comfortable, washable and reusable for practicing healthy habits every day. This cover is not a medically graded mask nor a Personal Protective Equipment but can help prevent the spread of viruses and germs through droplet transmission.”
