Brace yourselves, “Jesus Is King” is actually coming.
Kanye West, who has long delayed his latest album several times, has revealed the official time “Jesus is King” will drop.
The rapper, 42, tweeted what appears to be a track list from an album and informed fans the album will be available at midnight Friday.
“‘JESUS IS KING’ Midnight,” is all West tweeted along with a photo of the what could be the songs on the album. Though the rapper did not clarify what the list was, the possible tracks on the album could include: “Every Hour,” “Selah,” “Follow God,” “Closed on Sunday,” “On God,” “Everything We Need,” “Water,” “God Is,” “Hands On,” “Use The Gospel” and “Jesus Is Lord.”
He is also releasing a documentary of the same name to complement the album. The documentary will have Thursday night screenings in select IMAX theaters before officially opening Friday.
West first teased the album drop last month but then delayed the project.
On Thursday, the rapper also revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 yet another forthcoming project in the works, “Jesus Is Born,” which will be released on Christmas. He also discussed that he’s a self-described “porn addict” and even issued a ban on premarital sex for anyone working on “Jesus Is King.”
